My training was a fascinating and enriching journey that expanded my horizons and provided me with tools for conducting political negotiations from a gender perspective. The training deepened my understanding of the importance of empowering women and their full inclusion, on equal terms, in all areas of society, including decision-making and influential positions, in order to effectively realize equality, justice, and peace. Additionally, I realized how crucial it is to implement gender-based thinking in all government programs, starting from the policy-making stages, to ensure women’s safety and address their needs.
