Amani Brik

Project Manager in Google’s research group, leading artificial intelligence projects in the fields of sustainability and health.
Manages the group of Arab employees at Google Israel (Tel Aviv and Haifa).
Manages a program to recruit Palestinian engineers from Gaza and the West Bank to Google’s offices in Europe.

Ms. Brik’s previous position at Google involved, among other things, recruiting and building research teams in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the United States. She also led the establishment of Google’s first engineering and research office in Africa, currently located in Accra, Ghana. In 2022, Ms. Brik initiated a $10 million fund by Google for the advancement of high-tech in Palestine (Gaza and the West Bank). Following this initiative, she participated in the 2022 WEF Conference in Davos.

She previously served as Business Development Manager at Tsofen, an organization that promotes Arab academics in high-tech companies in Israel, where she led projects of exposure to tech companies, training, and technological competitions, developing recruitment programs for tech companies in Israel with an emphasis on talents from the Arab society.  

Ms. Brik holds a master’s degree in organizational development from the University of Haifa and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and human resources from the University of Haifa. She is an alumna of a leadership program sponsored by the US State Department at the University of Michigan, USA, and a negotiation skills program from the Negotiations Strategy Institute (NSI) sponsored by Harvard University, Massachusetts, USA.

My training has taught me about the capabilities and benefits that women bring to the negotiation table, promoting conflict resolution.
