Naomi Sternberg

Director of the Conflict and Gender Project at the Geneva Initiative.

Ms. Sternberg hosts the Road to Agreement podcast, which discusses core issues of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from the perspective of the younger generation, Ms. Sternberg also brings together Israeli and Palestinian women from the West Bank and Gaza, encouraging their participation in political activities related to the conflict while providing insights on its gender perspective. Additionally, she serves as an editor at Haaretz newspaper, a research assistant at the Institute for National Security Studies, and a project manager at the Abba Eban Institute for Diplomacy and Foreign Relations.

Ms. Sternberg holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and Middle Eastern history and is currently completing a master’s degree in Middle Eastern history, focusing on the gender history of Palestine. She has studied the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for years, focusing on activism that connects between women’s rights and the political issue.

My training has equipped me with extensive knowledge and tools about the gender perspective of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Resolution 1325, and civil society. Furthermore, I have gained access to an incredible network of talented women who are committed to changing reality, each contributing their own expertise and influence, which fills me with hope.
